Lumberjack Grantham

Grantham has become obsessed with Lumberjacks. Why? Who knows? We bought a DVD of Hard Hat Harry and lumberjacks. If you are not familar with Hard Hat Harry, he is a man who does videos/DVDs that are children's documentaries. On this day, I had asked John to remove a bush that sits in the middle of the yard. Grantham got in on the fun by using his shovel to "chop" down the last of the bush.

How it all began

John and Tabitha met while studying abroad in Grantham, England at a college called Harlaxton. Two years later, they were wed in a beautiful outdoor wedding attended by friends and family from all over the world. John was an aspiring dentist, and Tabitha planned on changing the world one child at a time-teaching. Within a year John decided that he needed to change directions in his medical career and enter medical school instead of dentistry. The years that followed were full of ups and downs but ultimately we ended up completeing four years of medical school and six years of teaching in Indianapolis, IN. With God's gentle guidance, we matched for a pediatric residency in Greenville, SC. Another move and another adventure . . . we soon found out that we were pregnant with a baby boy who we chose to name Grantham after the place it all began. Recently, we became the parents of two beautiful boys (our second son is named Isaac - which means laughter).
